For the protection of sellers Flipkart has set up a Seller Protection Fund (SPF). Sellers can request for claim under SPF through the seller dashboard.
SPF can be claimed under the following two circumstances:
1. When buyer is at fault
2. When the logistic partner is at fault
If the fault is at sellers end he has to bear the loss.
Sellers can raise a claim through Seller Protection Fund and depending on the case and category they will be given a refund.
For example if the product was damaged by the logistic partners or the customer, the seller has to provide an adequate proof stating, he has shipped an undamaged product and he can get the refund under SPF in his favour.
